The 2017 report by the Annie E. Casey Foundation highlighted the desire of individuals aged 16 to 29 in Baltimore to pursue entrepreneurial ventures that break free from discrimination and uplift their communities. Addressing this aspiration, the Foundation, in collaboration with Coppin State University’s Center for Strategic Entrepreneurship, has initiated a groundbreaking research venture known as Excellence in Entrepreneurial Learning (EXCEL).
At the heart of EXCEL lies a comprehensive exploration and assessment of various youth entrepreneurship programs available to Baltimore City residents.
